Greetings Fellow Dice Fans!

 

We decided to host Golden Age events once a month so our locals can play their Golden Age cards and also to help the store move some of their older, Golden Age product. We required players to purchase one pack of singles from the Golden Age boxes as their entry. The packs are character packs, typically with different rarities and multiple dice for the characters. It was a lot of fun to play with PXG and Red Dragon again! I’ve really missed some of those cards.

Flip Sides of Catwoman and Batwoman.

I have really missed playing Villain Retaliation. I wanted to put a ‘new’ Retaliation team together that can attack and not just KO itself to KO my opponent. The overall idea was have Black Manta active and use Hush and Batwoman or Catwoman on their Batman Family side to soften my opponent up. The more Villains in the Field, the better, which is why I went with lots of Villains and characters that worked with other Villains. I used Red Dragon, Parallax, and PXG for the Globals. Red Dragon was supposed to help me get my Front Line sooner. I added Mutation in case someone was using troublesome characters that I could Mutate out.

Olivia is back with her Vicious Struggle team! I love her team build and I wish it would work more often for her. We had a great match, and we both made mistakes, but it was still fun and enjoyable.

I am not a Poly-Hulk fan. I like seeing Travis play it, but not against me! I played horribly in this match and made lots of mistakes – too many. Not flipping characters is probably the biggest mistake of them all.

Round Three – J. North

North is definitely the Satchel Master. Before I knew it, he had loads of Continuous dice in the Field Zone and I hadn’t done much of anything to him. Red Dragon helped him purchase Satchel much sooner than usual and since we both had Red Dragon, he could do it twice in a turn. His Mister Miracle Boomeranged his Satchels back into is Prep Area, almost every time. I have no clue what I was doing in this game, other than losing, very badly. His team flowed so well and he knew exactly what he was doing. I was playing so poorly and it definitely showed.

Final Standing: 5th

So, maybe I had too much going on. Maybe I shouldn’t have tried to throw Retaliation on the team and just stuck with Batwoman and Front Line. I don’t know, but I do know that I failed miserably with this team. This is a prime example of what happens when you don’t test play. I have a really bad habit of doing this though, where I build a team and don’t try it, then rush into battle with it! Bad idea. I like Batwoman and Frontline, so I may try to build around that for our next Golden Age event. There are some other great Villains in Golden Age that I could pair with her.

This week was just your typical Modern Age event. Our locals enjoy Drafts and Modern Age the most, but we’re going to add in some Golden Age events soon. Be on the lookout for those!

I am very determined to get Hawk and Dove to work – eventually. I absolutely love their combo with Fabricate. Rip Hunter adds that additional churn that this team desperately needs, but I don’t like that I have to buy him as well. To get the churn I need, it slows me down by a turn. S.T.A.R. Labs and Wasp are on the team for their utility. Wasp helps me force those troublesome characters to block when I attack, hopefully KO’ing them. This helps the most against Swarm characters. And because of that very reason, I use Multiple Man instead of any other Swarm character. With his level three side, he can potentially withstand a hit from a low-moderate attacker. Giganta is a key piece on this team for her Global. She can be a big, beefy attacker making her my back up win condition. Reclaim and Big Entrance are both very handy, but I’m considering swapping them out at some point.

Parademon burn is not something I like to see across the table from me. It can be lethal the longer the game goes. You start by taking one or two, here and there, and before you know it, you’re almost KO’d. Pair that with an unblockable Harley Quinn and that Merlyn and you’re in big trouble. I was able to slow her Swarm ramp by using Wasp’s Global, which caused her some problems in getting her team set up. The longer our match went on, the more fearful I was that she would get those characters that she needed and be able to KO me with one attack!

I really dislike Guy teams. They’re difficult for me to deal with and to add to it, it was Mr. DDK playing it. He’s a very tough opponent and I’ve gotten lucky a few times against him, but this wasn’t one of them. I made a lethal mistake in this match by not keeping my level one Hawk and trying to roll him on a higher level. I should have kept him to spin him up on the next turn. I don’t think it would have mattered that much in the grand scheme of things, but I would have had a better chance if not for that error. It was still a great match and didn’t go at all the way I expected. That’s mainly due to his Guy dice not rolling characters, but that happens and it’s part of the game.

The Satchel Master Sidekick King is back at it with a new type of team! He wanted to try out Team Up from the new Superman Wonder Woman starter so he chose lots of cheaper characters with different affiliations. I had better rolls than he did in this match. We both agree that Lantern colors would probably be best for Team Up, but nothing ventured – nothing gained. Knowledge and experience was gained in this match, and sometimes that’s priceless. I hope he tries his Lantern Team Up idea soon as I would love to play against it!

Final Standing: 2nd

I’m at a loss as to what I need to change on this team. I know I can get it to work, I just don’t have the creative juices to get it going right now. This may be a team that needs to sit in the box and then revisit it in a few weeks. I have a few other teams to try out, so I guess that’s what I’ll do. I had thought about swapping Multiple Man for Goblin. That would give me the extra fist energy for Haymaker, and make it so I only need two Doves, but Goblins get blasted way too easy. Multiple Man has the ability to survive an attack on level three, where the Goblin just dies. I really believe that my error lies in my BAC choices and possibly with Rip Hunter. But Rip Hunter was so beneficial – or was he? He slowed me down on my Dove purchases because I had to purchase him, and roll him. I may try swapping him out for a utility card like Chalkboard.

I’m definitely open to suggestions for this team, but I’m probably going to box it for now and try something different.

I’m going to keep it short today. You can find all of the featured matches on my YouTube channel in the July 15, 2017 playlist.

You can even my draft pick video there! This video was streamed live to Facebook from my phone. Sorry about the terrible skinny view on YouTube, but I can’t change that.

I was not drafting to win this event. I was drafting mainly for cards that I need for my collection, as were several other folks. Here is the team I put together from my draft picks.

My Team 71517

I chose Unstable Canister and Cloudkill as my Basic Actions. Unstable Canister was a huge help in all of my games, mainly for its Global. Using the Global helped me get attackers through to hit my opponent’s life total. I was able to get a partial flow with Rip Hunter in one game where I cycled the dice I drew in hopes of pulling my Unstable Canister dice. The primary focus of the team was Red Hood and Cloudkill with a bunch of cheap dudes, but I never got that work for me.

I ended up taking second place, missing first place due to tiebreakers. I had fun, but I think Rip Hunter with Unstable Canister is a really silly way to earn your victories. I wanted to try it for myself just to see how silly it was. While it’s a viable strategy, it really is no fun being on the receiving end. You can try to buy up all of their Canister dice, but in doing so, you put your own strategy in jeopardy – which is how I won my second match. This is not a draft strategy I plan to use in the future because it’s not really my style.

This is week six of six for our Lockout League season. If you aren’t familiar with the Lockout League format, it’s a really fun format that allows for more creativity as the weeks progress. I wanted to give this Hawk-Dove combo a shot in this week’s Lockout League. I got to use my beloved Nasty Plot for some churn, and I put Haymaker on the team to pump up Hawk’s attack. Rocket was supposed to help me spin my Doves to level three and Captain America was supposed to help me gain a little bit of life and give me a blocker too. Flesh Golem was the KO engine for Dove, which works perfect if you can get Doves in the Field. S.T.A.R. Labs, Red Dragon, and Goblin Attack Force were my utility cards used primarily for their Globals.

Bailee and I test played our teams to prepare for the tournament and I already knew I was at a serious disadvantage going in. Using Harley Quinn, Batwoman, and Huntress together is so nasty! Once Botwoman gets cycling, there isn’t much you can do to defend yourself against her. We were the featured match for round one, so you can see the teams in action on my YouTube channel.

Bailee went on to win the event, which would have gotten her list added to the Lockout List, but this was the final week.

Round Two – J. North

Here I was, sitting across from a very similar themed team to what I just played against. We both had awful rolls to start the game and we both struggled to get our momentum going. North got his team up and running long before I could even get my team to stabilize, which ultimately ended in my defeat. North used the uncommon Harley instead of the rare version that Bailee used. Both are highly effective and Carmine Falcone is a great choice in a format where players are fielding Sidekicks to get them out of their bags.

I know I speak for many of the locals when I say that I’m relieved this Lockout Season is over. We won’t be planning another anytime in the foreseeable future. We were playing Lockout Leagues to help with the stale Unlimited meta prior to the announcement of rotation. We are just now getting around to the final week of that series of events. Most of us want to Draft and play Modern Age and maybe do some special events around the holidays instead of worrying about ban lists like this.

I still had fun and I definitely enjoy the Hawk-Dove combo when it works. I plan to build a Modern Age version of this team and hopefully I can get it to work a little better than this one. We all enjoyed the Lockout League and it may be a format we revisit in the distant future. But for now, our focus is going to be on Modern Age and drafting, and maybe a little Prime too.

That is definitely a seven character team. I couldn’t think of what else I would want to add and it seemed like anything else would clunk the team up, so I went with seven cards and 20 dice. The main goal is to get my Jessica Jones dice and some Proton Cannons on the same turn, with lots of Fist energy for Goliath’s Global. Multiple Man and Goblin were my main sources for ramp and churn with the added help from Rip Hunter. S.T.A.R. Labs is a great way to filter Sidekicks out from your Used Pile so that they don’t get back into your bag. Giant Spider’s Global was key in helping me keep my Jessica Jones in the Field by forcing them to block her. Superhero Registration Act was there as a back up in case I couldn’t buy Multiple Man or Goblin dice.

I stayed on the camera this week so all of my matches can be viewed on my YouTube channel.

North was playing a version of what I planned to play next if I couldn’t play this team again. I’ve been working on a Modern Age build for Hawk and Dove but I have some ideas for a Lockout League version too. If you can get this combo to go off, it can be deadly and I knew that. I was lucky enough to get my combo up and running smoothly before he got his.

Hannah loves these nasty direct damage or ‘burn’ teams. Her Modern Age build can be devastating, so I had an idea of what to expect. I tried to keep her Parademon and Foot Ninjas out of the Field by using my Giant Spider’s Global to force them to block so they wouldn’t be active on her turn (if I was able to KO them). That’s the only way to stand a chance against a team like this.

Craig wanted to play, but didn’t realize it was Lockout League and most of his regular team build was already locked out, so he did what he could to throw a team together in like five minutes. It was a great effort and if I hadn’t been able to get my team back into a flow of sorts, he could have raced me into defeat! Lockjaw was particularly annoying for me since he could easily predict what Swarm character I would be drawing. It was a fun match and the tides could have turned easily with all the low cost dudes on his team.

So… I not really accustomed to winning events. I was excited to win, but sad at the same time. My team will be added to the Lockout List and I’ll have to find something new to play next week for our final Lockout League event. I really like the Jessica Jones + Goliath + Overcrush. That was so much fun to try and pull off and if you watch the videos, you’ll see me struggle with it at times. Even with the difficulties, it was still really fun and all my matches were a blast!

We’ve been playing a lot of Modern Age lately, even before the official rotation date. Our locals absolutely love the Modern Age format.

My Team

My Team

I was very excited to see Orion and Big Barda in the Batman set. Even though my overall knowledge of the DC universe is limited, I knew exactly who they were and I wanted to build a team with them. I wanted to use the uncommon Orion because his ability is cool and different. I love the idea of paying an energy to get him into my Prep instead of going to the Used Pile after he damages my opponent. Since I was using that particular Orion, I had to use the Big Barda with the static buff that increases the attack and defense of other New Gods. Now I just needed a way to either give him Overcrush or make him unblockable. I like him being unblockable, so I went with Silver Sable to help him with that. I didn’t know who Mister Miracle was exactly, but he’s a cheap New God that makes for an awesome blocker, so why not? I thought Rip Hunter would be great to guarantee my Orion on level three – but it only works if I draw him. I think he’s better used for Silver Sable to guarantee that cheaper fielding side since I’m just gonna sacrifice her anyway. Cold Gun, Rip’s Chalkboard, and S.T.A.R. Labs are all there for their utility. I decided to go with Haymaker for the attack buff Global, and also to purchase if I need the Overcrush. I knew I’d need a way to decrease the cost of some of my characters, so I decided to use Big Entrance as my second Basic Action.

I always have trouble defeating Hannah – doesn’t matter which team I’m using! Tonight was no different. Hannah has become a very good player for her age. She loves her burn team with Canister and Storm and that’s exactly how I lost. I couldn’t get enough damage through to defeat her. Red Hood was a great addition to her team. She didn’t have to rely mostly on ability damage because she could throw several characters at me as well as a beefy Red Hood. I tried to keep her Field thinned out by using her Canister Global against her characters, but it was to no avail! Hannah went on to win the event with a 3-0-0 record.

Jess is a returning player that hasn’t played in over a year. It’s always nice to have players return with new and exciting teams – like his Firefly Parademon team! Even though he felt like he was out of practice, he still defeated me in round two. Firefly is a beast! And the cheap Rockets are a perfect pair for him. The Swarming Parademons are good too. It was a fast team that my New Gods couldn’t keep up with.

Popcorn throwing time! I got the bye in round three – which is fine with me. I get to watch everyone else play while causing a huge distraction! Just kidding! I do enjoy being able to watch other matches when I can’t play because of a bye. And hey – I got a free win!

Final Thoughts

I really love Orion and Silver Sable. As much as I like Barda, I don’t think I can keep her. I think I need to replace her with a card that can help me get to Orion faster – and maybe an energy fixer. There were times that I had a Shield and something else, or a Bolt and something else, and I really wanted to use the S.T.A.R. Labs Global, but couldn’t. I like Mister Miracle on the team, but I’d rather use Multiple Man: Pile On! in his place. I plan on adjusting this team for future events, but for now, I want to try my Teen Titans.

My Team

Retrobox hasn’t added the Defenders Team Pack yet, so Iron Fist: Holding Back the Storm is missing from my Retrobox list. I used three dice for him.

So the idea was to field a couple of Silver Sable dice and then cycle my Iron Fist die to eventually defeat my opponent. Alfred was to be my blocking character. Negasonic Teenage Warhead was my backup win condition in case something went wrong with Iron Fist. Stepford Cuckoos and the uncommon Cold Gun were my control pieces. S.T.A.R. Labs was my churn and Parallax was support. I love the SRA and Reclaim BAC pair. They seem to help my teams flow better, unless they decide to never roll an Action face… like they did this week.

I had a horrible time in my first match with both my Basic Action dice. I never saw a Superhero Registration Act and I only rolled one of my Reclaims. I’m convinced that the lack of churn and poor purchasing choices were my demise.

I decided to just concede my next two matches because I wasn’t feeling it. I don’t usually concede or drop from events, but my beloved dice tower was in a tragic accident just before round one started. Part of it was broken and it crushed my spirit for the rest of the night. I was terrified to use it at all for fear it would completely fall apart in the middle of a match. If it had, I would have totally been in tears. I think I managed to patch it for now, until I can order a new one or order replacement pieces. I hope the person that caused the accident does the right thing and helps me replace the broken pieces.

Winning Team

North did a fantastic job with his own Lockout League version of Flying Sidekicks. He was totally undefeated and has earned his Flying Ally team a place on the Lockout List.

I was thrilled to have a player return this week after a long absence, as well as a brand new player! I want to welcome Craig M. back and Jacob W. into the mix. Jacob is in our first round video from this week and he built the very best team he could from a couple of starters and some miscellaneous Deadpool packs.

I really wanted to try Iron Fist: Holding Back the Storm from the new Defenders Team Pack. I mentioned in my review article that this was my kinda card – and it totally is! I love using a win condition that cost more than four energy to purchase because then it feels like I earned the victory. I also added Hellcat: Hell’s Belle to the team, just to try her out. But her ability and Stepford Cuckoos: Celeste are both hindering to my win condition. I put Alfred Pennyworth: MI-5 on the team so that I wouldn’t have to worry too much about fielding blockers each turn. Parallax, Rip, and Cold Gun are all staple cards and all are beneficial, except for maybe Parallax. I used him a little and he didn’t work so well for me. He may be replaced with something else in the near future.

Gorilla Grodd: Force of Mind is my win condition assistant. Giving Iron Fist Overcrush and a +1A is definitely what I want to do. I love using Grodd and this Iron Fist card is just what I’ve been looking for to pair with Grodd. The problem that comes up is that both are expensive. I really wish Iron Fist cost four, but honestly, five is right for his stats and ability. I used Superhero Registration Act and Reclaim to help with my churn. I love this combination of Basic Action Cards and Hannah was the one that showed me how well it worked. I will definitely be tinkering with this team to find a way to make it work a little faster. The build is totally my style though – Control until the big guns get warmed up!

Round One

Jacob is brand new to the game, but his prior experience with other collectible games has helped speed up his learning curve. I taught him how to play less than a week ago and he put a team together and decided to give the tournament a try. I think he did very well for a new player. I feel bad for playing Grodd against him, but he held his own for a while – and he had the right idea with the Smash! Global. I think he’s got great potential to become an excellent player.

Travis (Mr. DDK) always seems to have the upper hand against me. I just always assume I’m going down in a great ball of fire when I have to play against him. I actually wasn’t defeated that easily by his Guy+Squirrel team. Hellcat: Hell’s Belle is who I have to thank for that! This is the match that I realized I needed a Fabricate ability. We had a really good match, and I tried my hardest, but in the end – it was the Squirrels… they got me. Squirrel Girl is a super cute card and she seems like lots of fun. I love the tokens that WizKids gave out for her too.

I was really proud of myself for not dying in three or four turns to Guy. That is a major accomplishment for me because Guy has always given me trouble.

Record: 1-1-0

Round Three

I got to face off against Craig M. in round three and there was a video, but for some reason, it won’t import to my computer from my GoPro. I’ve tried all the fixes mentioned in the forums and nothing has worked. I am so very sad about this. This match was a great teaching tool. It was the perfect example of how you should check, double check, and triple check your math. Craig and I had a great match of back and forth slugging, but I made a fatal error. I counted the potential damage on my character dice and thought I had exactly enough to take him out. He was at 19 and I had 18 damage. I didn’t realize the error until after I assigned my attackers, which there is no going back from. Well, there is, if you ask your opponent for a take back – but I do not usually do that in tournaments. That attack left my Field wide open and he was rolling lots of character dice. He got lots of characters fielded and attacked for lethal. This was a great learning experience for me and would have made a great video. I’m sorry I couldn’t find a fix for it.

Final Thoughts

Oh my goodness! I love Overcrushing Iron Fist! I thought about using Proton Canon, which I super love, but that means my opponent could grab it too. I don’t mind them grabbing a Reclaim or an SRA, but not my Canon. Mary Jane would not work well at all. Iron Fist would not get his +3A at the same time he has Overcrush. Grodd feels like my best choice and I know there are better combo cards for Grodd (like Lady Bullseye: Attack on Two Fronts) but they’re not for me. I like Iron Fist and Grodd and I’m determined to find a way to play them more effectively. Cuckoos are definitely coming off the team. I’m not sure about Hellcat yet. I like her, but she’s a When Fielded ability. She could help stem the tide early in the game, hopefully until I can get Iron Fist and/or Grodd, so she may stay for now. In my review article for the Defenders Team Pack, I made mention that she alone is not worth buying the Team Pack for. While I think she has potential, I stand by that. Not only would you need the $10 Team Pack, but you would need a second one to get max dice for her. She’s totally not worth $20 for her card and four dice.

I really do like this team and I will probably be working on it a lot in the near future. I may not play it in every event though, because it’s not nice to new players. I hope Batman has something new that can improve this team!

This is week three of six for our Lockout League season. If you aren’t familiar with the Lockout League format, it’s a really fun format that allows for more creativity as the weeks progress. Each week, the first place player will have their entire team added to a Lockout List. Players cannot use any card on the Lockout List while building a team for that week. We tried something different this time (suggested by Brett). We started this Lockout League with a pre-Locked List. Players voted on cards from the previous season’s final list and the cards with the most votes started our Lockout List. Pre-Locked List is Italicized.

I wanted to try Suit Up in a semi-constructed event and sometimes I like to pretend that I can build good teams. When I do, this is what happens – too many gimmicks and not enough ‘Pow!’ to my punches. I’m way too much of a Johnny/Timmy at times with not enough Spike. The Suit Up gimmick is really fun – when it works. I would definitely not recommend trying to do too many Suit Up shenanigans on one team, like I did. I really wanted to do the whole Pepper Suits Up into Rescue and while she’s doing that, I get Iron Man from my bag just so I can Suit Up into Space Armor Iron Man next turn, thing. Sounds fun, right? I got it to work… like once. I love Rescue – but not Pepper. I would totally put this Rescue on a team if I had four dice for her because I really like her ability. It’s not game breaking, and it helps soften up your opponent.

I honestly don’t know what I was thinking by adding Negasonic to the team, but I thought enough about it to add Hulk Out to help her along. The problem I ran into was that I never had Underdog! Of course I wouldn’t – I need my dudes in the Field… I realized that she wasn’t a good team mate only after I had begun my first round.

The rare Cold Gun is already locked out this season, so I went with my backup. I like the uncommon more than the rare sometimes, and it is actually fairly useful, if you purchase it and use it. That was another mistake of mine that I made in the midst of battle. I sometimes have this tunnel vision issue where I only see half the cards on my team and forget the other half. That’s what happened to my poor Cold Gun in this event. Let this serve as a reminder – don’t forget to pay attention to your entire team!

I really like Space Armor Iron Man and the super rare Iron Man that I used from Uncanny X-Men. I really wish I could have utilized them better and more efficiently. I would forget about Iron Man’s Global and ability (that silly tunnel vision again) and only realize I could utilize it when I didn’t have the resources to do so.

I feel like I performed very poorly in this event due to my being easily distracted by the noise and activity outside of my matches. Everyone has one of those days where they can’t focus and this was definitely my day. I won’t let it get me down though, and hopefully I’ll learn from it. I already have an idea with Negasonic and Hulk Out that I’m brewing for the next round of Lockout League.

Mr. DDK took away the win at this event with none other than my beloved Turtles! It’s a little bitter-sweet to see him get those radical dudes locked out this week. This means I won’t be able to use any of those particular cards in the upcoming weeks, and the season is only at the half way mark! You can see his winning team build below or on DM Retrobox, here.

I want to apologize in advance for the poor quality photos. I have to take screen shots from the videos because I don’t have a decent camera since my phone was stolen. I will add DM Retrobox links for each of my opponent’s teams.

And because of the weather roller coaster we’ve been experiencing the last two months, many of our players are still out sick or now have sinus issues (a small part of what caused my headache towards the end of the night). We had four players, so I volunteered to stay on the camera so that everyone could get on at least one video (even though I think most of the locals would rather play off camera). This is my classic Guardians of the Galaxy team, with a slight tweak. Blue-Eyes is banned already, so I had to replace him. I thought Stepford Cuckoos would be a nice addition, to help me clear their field a little so that my attackers could get through. I also added Reclaim in the place of Hulk Out, and Big Entrance in the place of Polymorph. I love my GotG team and I wanted to give it a go in Lockout League.

Never under estimate the power of a super intelligent gorilla and his Sidekicks. I knew I needed to hit North early for as much as I could, but Grodd came in full blast with way too many Sidekicks. Grodd is an overwhelming piece when he’s been turned loose on your opponent. I just couldn’t get enough going to take out North before I was overrun by Grodd and his Overcrushing, 2A Sidekicks. Lady Bullseye played a huge part in his victory against me as well. She’s a great early game pressure piece to distract your opponent while you work up to Grodd. The Guardians fell to Grodd in round one.

This is another team that needs to be hit fast and hard. If the game drags out too long, this burn team can easily take the victory. Storm is a titan among mortals with Unstable Canister, and even Superhero Registration Act (SRA). When Hannah plays SRA with Storm in the Field, I take one damage. Then I have to decide if I’m going KO a character or let her draw three dice. When you know she has the chance to draw one to three Unstable Canisters from SRA, you typically want to KO a dude so she only draws two dice. She was desperately lacking Parallax though, because with SRA, you only get the single roll on those dice you drew. Missing the roll on a couple of Canisters is what enabled me to seize a victory in this round. The Guardians built up their force and then went for the victory with little character resistance, thanks to the Cuckoos.

I was not looking forward to battling it out with Mr. DDK. My slight headache had become a full blown migraine by this match and I’m ashamed to say that I did not give it my all against him. His team is devastatingly effective though with Lyssa Drak and War Machine dealing their burn damage to the opponent. She-Hulk is a great finishing piece with Lady Bullseye as extra damage backup. I kinda wish I had made him play on camera all night because his team would have been much more entertaining to watch than mine. The Guardians fell really hard against Travis’s team.

Final Thoughts

I love my Guardians team, just as much as I love my Justice League team. But with the announcement of rotation, both those teams are now going to be solely Golden Age. Our local scene is going to focus mainly on Modern Age and Prime, but we plan to host Golden Age events from time to time. A few players want to play their Bards, and I want to be able to play my JL or Guardians again. I want to remind folks that just because the big WizKids events will likely only be Modern Age, doesn’t mean you can’t play Golden Age locally.

Even though I had a nasty headache/migraine most of the day, I still had fun in most of my matches. I can’t wait for our third week of Lockout League! I have no clue what I’ll be playing, but I’m brewing some more theme-team type stuff. That’s the stuff that’s really fun to play!
